Town of Grimsby set to put Grimsby Secondary on Heritage Registry

Grimsby Secondary School won’t have a heritage designation just yet, but the town is setting the stage for a designation to be made if the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) sells it.

The planning and development committee drafted a report to put the near century-old school on a heritage registry, which would keep the school from being demolished for 60 days if the owner applies for a demolition permit.
